Tarannum Ahmed, who served as one of the pillars of MUSE, left us too soon as she passed away on December 31, 2025. Her willingness and readiness to contribute her time, energy and ideas without hesitation whenever MUSE needed her is an example to be followed. Even though Tarannum’s passing has left a space that can never be filled, she has left us a great lesson on bravery. MUSE is forever grateful to Tarannum for making it a platform for echoing her creative thoughts.
We feel fortunate to be able to share one last piece of writing done by Tarannum. Click on the link to access her poem that had not seen the light of day until now: https://muse.ulab.edu.bd/2026/05/22/aphonia/
